Savor summer with Cocktails in the Park
Enjoy an evening of local flavors, live music and community spirit during Batavia MainStreet’s annual Cocktails in the Park.
Set for 7-10 p.m. Saturday, July 26 in Appleton Park, 110 N. Island Ave., the event features small plates from local restaurants, craft cocktails and a beautiful riverside setting — all in support of Batavia MainStreet’s mission to keep downtown Batavia vibrant and thriving.
“Cocktails in the Park is celebrating its 14th year in downtown Batavia,” said Kristen Desler, Assistant Director of Batavia MainStreet. “It was created as Batavia MainStreet’s largest annual fundraiser. Over the years, it has grown into a signature summer event that supports important community programs like the Batavia Farmers’ Market, Artisan Collective and Batavia Boardwalk Shops.”
Guests can look forward to an impressive lineup of food and drink, including tastings from local restaurants and even select vendors from the Batavia Farmers’ Market. Attendees can also take home a sweet kettle corn treat.
New this year is the VIP Experience Raffle, open to ticket holders who donate $25 or more. The winner will enjoy a host of premium perks such as a reserved table dressed with linens and floral centerpieces, professional group photos and Downtown Batavia swag. Groups may also opt to reserve a Picnic Table Package, which includes six tickets and drink passes for an enhanced shared experience.
“This event is more than just a night out — it’s a key fundraiser that helps fuel Batavia MainStreet’s year-round efforts to boost local economy and support regional tourism,” Desler said.
Initiatives supported by Cocktails in the Park, such as the Farmers’ Market and Boardwalk Shops, have generated more than $1.8 million in sales and welcomed thousands of visitors to the community, Desler said.
Desler said the success of the event is made possible by sponsors like Gerald Subaru of North Aurora.
“Gerald Subaru of North Aurora is one of the presenting sponsors of the event,” she said. “Their support helps ensure the success of Cocktails in the Park by offsetting costs and enabling Batavia MainStreet to focus on fundraising and community impact. Sponsorships like Gerald’s make it possible to sustain and expand critical programs that benefit both local businesses and residents.”
Gerald Subaru of North Aurora is proud to serve as a presenting sponsor for Concerts in the Park.
“Cocktails in the Park is a great way to celebrate summer and connect with the Batavia community,” said Donna Lawler of The Gerald Auto Group. “We’re proud to support an event that brings people together while making a real impact through Batavia MainStreet’s programs and initiatives.”
