Buffalo Grove firefighters hosting food truck festival

Buffalo Grove Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Local 3177 will host their annual Fire Up! Food Truck Festival on Saturday, June 28, from noon to 6 p.m. at Mike Rylko Community Park.

The free community event supports Project Fire Buddies and features food trucks from such vendors as Pierogi Rig, Cousins Maine Lobster, and Brothers BBQ.

Festival activities include live music, face painting, balloon art, inflatables, a fire pole experience, dunk tank, and family games. The event is sponsored by local businesses including BeeZee Dumpsters, CDE Collisions, and Woodman's Markets, among others.
