Fire trucks, tractors and more at Rolling Meadows’ Touch-A-Truck event

Touch-A-Truck is rolling into the community, bringing a unique summertime experience for all ages to Rolling Meadows Park District.

From fire engines and tractors to police cruisers, cement mixers and even the Park District’s own Olympia ice resurfacer, this hands-on event has grown into a beloved local tradition.

Presented by Duly Health and Care in Schaumburg, this year’s Touch-A-Truck takes place on Friday, June 20, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Community Center parking lot, 3705 Pheasant Drive.

Free custard from Andy’s Frozen Custard in Mt. Prospect will be available while supplies last, along with complimentary chips and water provided by Park District staff.

Pizza will be available for purchase from Nick’s Pizza Truck. Gold sponsors include Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and Village Bank & Trust.

“We’re so excited to bring Touch-A-Truck back to the Community Center,” said Sydney Szukala, recreation supervisor for Special Events & Community Engagement. “Every year, the event grows — with more vehicles, more activities and more fun for everyone. Seeing the joy on kids’ faces when they spot their favorite trucks and meet the drivers is truly the best part.”

Touch-A-Truck is a free, drop-in event. No registration required.
