Huntley church offers ‘Live It Out’ vacation Bible school

Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church in Huntley is hosting this summer’s vacation Bible school, with the theme, “Live It Out: Discover How to Love Like Jesus” on July 7-11.

The program is for children in all age ranges from 3-year-old, potty-trained preschoolers to those who will entering the fifth grade.

It will be 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Friday at the church, 10805 Main St.

Children will enjoy praise, worship and singing as they “Live it Out” and discover how to love like Jesus. They will develop their understanding of the many teachings of Jesus and will have fun both indoors and outdoors, too, by making crafts, playing games, and having snacks.
