Bartlett Public Library Foundation hosts ‘Authors In The Park’ event June 21

The Bartlett Public Library Foundation will host “Authors In The Park,” an author book festival fundraiser in support of the Patti Perkins Fund, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Banbury Fair, 211 W. Railroad Ave., Bartlett. Meet 10 authors, with a chance to purchase their books and get them signed. The event will also include raffles, crafters and live music by Sal Rizzo on guitar and Heather Dudley on keyboard.

Authors scheduled to participate include:

• R.G. Ziemer, scientific studies/horror

• Georgann Prochaska, mystery

• Ken Linde, historical fiction/social fiction/contemporary (11 Books)

• Meathead Goldwyn, “The Barbecue Whisperer,” Barbecue Hall of Famer

• Jenny O’Brien, children’s (“The adventures of Penny and Poppy”)

• Jessica Moen, thriller/mystery

• Jim Summaria, rock 'n’ roll

• Tom Rogal, fantasy

• Mary Rocco, mystery/suspense

• Bree M. Lewandowski, contemporary romance/closed door fantasy

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held Tuesday, June 22.
