Chicago man charged with sexually abusing teen, Des Plaines police say

A Chicago man has been charged with sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl in Des Plaines, police in that suburb announced Friday.

Johnny Martinez, 33, of the 4100 block of North Drake Avenue, is charged with four counts of child pornography as well as aggravated criminal sexual abuse and indecent solicitation of a child, according to a news release.

Martinez met the teen online, a police spokesperson said.

Martinez was arrested Wednesday.

No other details were available.
