Cook Park Library Youth Services area opens

After months of planning, teamwork, and patience from patrons, the refreshed Youth Services area at Cook Park Library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., in downtown Libertyville is open.

The $970,000 renewal project begin late last year when the children’s area temporarily was relocated to the lower level. It had been closed from May 19-28 to complete what officials describe as an investment in early childhood.

The refreshed area included new furniture, an updated collection area and flexible, engaging spaces. Visit cooklib.org.
