No injuries in fire that left Bartlett home uninhabitable

No one was injured after a house fire erupted Monday afternoon in Bartlett.

Bartlett fire personnel arrived on the 200 block of McCook Court around 2:51 p.m. to find heavy smoke on the roof of the home. A large fire was then discovered in the home’s attic space.

The fire was under control by 3:19 p.m., but the home was badly damaged and left uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation and there was no immediate damage estimate.
