An answer on policies

Recently, one of your letter writers asked what the Democratic Party stands for. While it’s clear his news sources are limited to right-wing conspiracy nonsense, I thought I’d answer his question in a way even a MAGA Republican can understand.

In no particular order: A woman’s right to health care the way she chooses, reasonable gun control, against discrimination because of people’s sexual orientation, voting rights, ALL people entitled to due process of the law, nobody above the law including the felon president, support for the Constitution, letting teachers and administrators decide what is taught in public schools, not a small group of religious fanatical moms, no book banning, fair taxation that does not support the wealthy at the expense of the needy, and that no children in this country should worry about where their next meal will come from.

There are others of course, but I know the capacity for some is limited so I’ll leave it at that.
