Bartlett’s ninth annual Global Arts Festival celebrates cultural diversity

Arts in Bartlett Global Arts Festival returns for its ninth year on June 7-8.

The free community event celebrating cultural diversity will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Jim Jensen Pavilion in Apple Orchard Park, 620 W. Stearns Road in Bartlett.

See local groups perform culturally significant dance routines, play unique musical instruments, and sing traditional ethnic songs.

Attendees are invited to participate in a variety of family-oriented lawn games, crafts and activities.

Plan to shop a diverse selection of vendor booths full of merchandise and artwork and dine on interesting ethnic foods and beverages offered by Kori's Koop, Tacos Celeste and Kool Kat Ice Cream.
