Three hurt in two-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 near Gurnee

Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 94 near Gurnee.

Illinois State Police said the crash happened just before 4:20 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-94 and one of the vehicles involved rolled over as a result of the crash.

State police did not provide any details about the three people transported to the hospital following the crash.

All westbound lanes were shut down for roughly five hours as part of the investigation. Traffic was allowed to pass through on the shoulder.
