Transit agencies lacked budgeting foresight
Illinois Democrats are now looking at possibly taxing haircuts, personal services and most repair services to bailout the Metra, CTA and Pace. Those transportation organizations recently announced a $770 million shortfall. Shame on the leadership of those organizations. They well knew that federal COVID aid would eventually stop, but they took no actions to prepare for this. What a disgrace, they should all be terminated.
