Ottenheimer chosen to serve as Buffalo Grove president pro tem

Buffalo Grove village board members chose Trustee Lester Ottenheimer III to serve as village president pro tem.

Ottenheimer will lead village board meetings and attend events in Village President Eric Smith’s absence.

An attorney who has been village trustee since 2011, Ottenheimer recently won reelection and was sworn in last week along with trustees Joanne Johnson and Denice Bocek, who will serve four year terms. Trustee Kevin Richards was sworn in for a two-year term.

In addition, the village board honored outgoing Trustee Andrew Stein.
