Elgin church to host benefit concert for food bank

All are invited to a free outdoor benefit concert on Monday, June 2, at St. Hugh of Lincoln Episcopal Church in Elgin.

Voices, a classic rock band that primarily plays music of the 1960s, ’70s, and ’80s, will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Bring your own chairs, blankets, and beverages for the picnic-like setting in a field just off the St. Hugh parking lot.

Snacks and light beverages will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to the Northern Illinois Food Bank mobile pantry. St. Hugh is at the southeast corner of Randall Road and Highland Avenue. For more information, visit www.sthugh.net.
