Punishing party dissent

I see that Chris Welch has taken lessons from President Trump. If someone, in his own party or not, says or does something to go against what he wants, remove him from any position of power. The speaker threw Rep. Fred Crespo out of the party caucus after stripping him of the chair of the House Appropriations General Services Committee. Welch cited that Crespo was not communicating with the party members. Translation: “He is not agreeing with me, he’s out.”

Who does Welch think he is, Michael Madigan?
