Look to history for lesson in government

Another sad person on the May 19 Opinion page. Conrad Bertz wrote that President Trump wasn’t the best candidate. VP Harris was, I assume he meant. I wish him the best as he needs guidance. But he was correct that Trump did not get 50% of popular vote. 49.9 % is close and beat Harris by 2.2 million popular votes and 86 in the Electoral College. Biggest margin in 40 years.

The writer has now put his faith in JB Pritzker. He has put Illinois in a deeper hole than ever before, but that is a Democrat policy, Socialize it.
