Dogs fall to Lincoln
The Chicago Dogs dropped the series finale at home to the Lincoln Saltdogs by a final of 4-2 on Sunday afternoon.
They outhit Lincoln, but made two errors, both of which led to runs scoring. Dusty Stroup started the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first, but the Saltdogs scored 4 runs before Chicago scratched across its second run on a seventh-inning fielder’s choice.
A Danny Bautista Jr. homer in the seventh capped off a three-run inning for Lincoln.
