Des Plaines concert band to play June 1

The Des Plaines Community Concert Band will perform Sunday, June 1, in its home city.

The show is set for 3 p.m. at the Prairie Lakes Theater, 515 E. Thacker St.

The Chicago Brass Band also will perform and will join the Des Plaines band for two pieces, according to a news release.

Tickets are $12 for adults or $10 for students and seniors. They can be purchased at dpparks.org.
