Rosemont kicks off 18-show summer concert series Sunday
Rosemont kicks off its 18-show summer concert series lineup of classic cover bands and other local favorites this weekend at Parkway Bank Park, with postconcert fireworks on most nights.
Rockin’ in the Park — on the lawn of the entertainment district — begins Sunday and continues with free music at least once a week through August.
Concerts are from 7 to 10 p.m., and postshow musical fireworks displays are on all nights except after the three Friday shows, June 27, July 25, Aug. 29.
While outside food and coolers are prohibited, refreshments are available for purchase at nearby tents. Parking can be validated from any of the park’s venues.
Commemorative concert series T-shirts will also be given away while supplies last, officials say.
