North Aurora police investigating shooting

North Aurora police are investigating a shooting that happened around 5 a.m. Wednesday near a business in the 100 block of Grant Street. Nobody was injured.

A caller reported hearing multiple shots and described a man running away from the business and into a vehicle. Police tried to stop the vehicle and chased it onto eastbound I-88, then back to Aurora.

The suspect was arrested near Barnes and Jericho roads in Aurora. Police have not released the person’s name or said if any charges have been filed.

Police say the shooting was a targeted attack on a person who works at the business.
