Disabled Patriot Fund marks 20 years with golf fundraiser, service dog donations
The Disabled Patriot Fund is hosting its 20th annual golf outing, Operation Fairway, on Thursday, June 19, at Old Oak Country Club in Homer Glen.
As part of this milestone event, two service dogs will be donated to disabled U.S. veterans in need, helping provide life-changing support and independence to those who have sacrificed for our country.
This day of golf and gratitude celebrates 20 years of service to local veterans and their families. Attendees will enjoy a meaningful blend of competition, community, and celebration — all in support of our nation’s heroes.
Event highlights include: playing on a championship-level course; complimentary breakfast, lunch, and beverages; and raffles, contests, silent auctions, and a loaded goodie bag for participants.
Meet special guests and hear inspiring veteran stories while enjoying live country music at the final festivities.
“We are honored to mark this 20-year milestone by giving back in such a tangible way,” said Brent Woods, president of the Disabled Patriot Fund. “These service dogs will make a profound difference in the lives of their veteran partners.”
Founded in 2004, the Disabled Patriot Fund in Palos Heights is a nonprofit committed to providing immediate assistance to local U.S. veterans and their families adversely affected by military service.
