Fogo de Chão opening in Orland Park Monday

Fogo de Chão, the popular Brazilian steakhouse, will open its sixth Chicago-area restaurant in Orland Park Monday.

The restaurant, at 15407 S. La Grange Road, showcases a seasonal Market Table, an indoor Bar Fogo area for all-day happy hour, and private dining spaces available for guests to reserve for any occasion.

Designed in partnership with Harrison, the new restaurant features an expansive dining room centered around an open churrasco grill, offering guests a 360-degree view of gaucho chefs demonstrating the culinary art of churrasco by butchering, hand carving, and grilling high-quality cuts of protein, according to a news release.

As part of the restaurant’s introduction to the community, Fogo donated 10% of its first week of sales to the Greater Chicago Food Depository, which distributes food to individuals and families through a network of about 700 pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and community programs.

The chain also opened a location in Schaumburg near Woodfield Mall in April. That restaurant, at 1950 E. Golf Road, offers the same features as the Orland Park location.
