Small chlorine leak at Barrington wastewater treatment plant
Barrington officials said at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday the village’s fire department is at the village’s wastewater treatment facility at 302 N. Raymond Ave. to address a small chlorine leak.
Village officials said there is no threat to the public, and the fire department is working alongside a hazardous materials response team to resolve the situation safely.
No injuries were reported.
