Tunnel to Towers 9/11 mobile exhibit coming to Gurnee Mills

A welcome procession for the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET mobile exhibit will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. May 16 at Gurnee Mills, in parking lot E at 6170 W. Grand Ave.

Visitors will receive a complimentary American flag and line Gurnee Mills Circle in welcome.

The exhibit is part of the annual First Responders Expo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 17.

It is a family-friendly event featuring more than 50 police and fire departments, safety activities, food trucks, a variety of live demonstrations and more.

On May 18, the Rods for Remembrance car show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Proceeds benefit Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Tours of the mobile exhibit with New York firefighters will be available May 17 and 18. Visit Gurnee Mills on Facebook.
