Elgin’s Family Service Association expands facility for holistic care

The Family Service Association of Greater Elgin will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the expansion of its healing and restoration wing at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at 1752 Capital St., Suite 100 in Elgin.

The new 2,500-square-foot wing of the main office is designed to enhance healing, restoration and holistic care for individuals and families in the community.

The Family Service Association of Greater Elgin serves children, adolescents, families and individuals whose complex lives require creative and innovative solutions to care.

The new space reflects the commitment to providing trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions in an environment that fosters well-being, resilience, and long-term recovery.
