Élan Dance Company to present free dance showcase May 30

Auditions are set for Tuesday, May 27

Naperville Park District invites the community to the Élan Dance Company 2025 Showcase on Friday, May 30 at Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave. on the campus of North Central College.

The performance is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. It will showcase a mix of dancing styles, including hip-hop, jazz and ballet. Tickets for the event are not needed, however seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Élan Dance Company provides quality dance training and a fundamental foundation in dance performance. Dancers will have the opportunity to improve their techniques while learning important teamwork skills, gaining experience participating in a dance company, and having fun.

Élan Dance Company offers a competitive team and a performance-only team, and both companies participate in several performances throughout the year. The competitive team will participate in competitions as well.

For those seeking to be a part of the company, auditions for the Élan Dance Company’s 2025-26 season will be held Tuesday, May 27, in the Community Hall at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, 305 W. Jackson Ave.

Auditions are from 4:30 to 8 p.m. for ages 6-18. Audition times depend on age. Dancers must be 6 years old by Sept. 1, 2025 to audition. Registration is required to attend auditions along with the payment of a $10 fee.
