Maggie O’Brien wrote about Trump: “His next move is to take away our right to protest him”. Wake up, folks, it’s already happening, a systematic effort to squash all dissent - an all-out assault on NPR, not beholden to corporate ownership and agenda. Attacks on the New York Times, CNN, NBC and MSNBC. Trump’s growing threats to strip broadcast licenses should send a shiver down your spine. This is straight out of the dictator playbook - suppress all dissent. I have a friend whose response to this is, “I’m not worried, I’m an optimist”. That’s how democracy dies. Again, wake up, folks.
