Christ the Lord Lutheran begins Holy Week worship
Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, 12N462 Tina Trail in Elgin, invites the community to the Holy Week Services beginning with Palm Sunday, April 13, at 9:30 a.m.
The congregation will join First Presbyterian Church in Elgin for their Maundy Thursday, April 17, at 7 p.m worship.
On Good Friday, April 18, worship will be at noon. On Easter morning, Sunday, April 20, there will be a 9:30 a.m. service followed by a continental breakfast and Easter egg hunt.
Children are welcome in worship; a guided nursery/Sunday school experience is also available during Sunday services.
Community support projects include canned or dry food products, diapers of any size, and funds to support Habitat for Humanity, Global Refuge, Centro de Informacion, First Presbyterian’s Church Closet, and First Congregational’s Assylum Fund.
No Stretch or Yoga Classes or Bible Studies will be held during Holy Week.
