President putting country in decline

Donald Trump ran for president on the platform of “Make America Great Again,” but weren’t we already great? We had a thriving economy (contrary to what Trump claimed) and we were respected by our allies.

Since Trump has taken power, we have become a country in decline and utter chaos. Thanks to his tariffs, the American people are burdened with rising prices. His tariffs have also made us enemies to our allies as has his treatment of Ukraine. He has shut down the very departments that are meant to protect us and proposed canceling the funds that support medical research, education, Medicare and Medicaid, veteran’s benefits and humanitarian programs.

Trump has stomped on freedom of speech. The very idea that The Associated Press is banned from the White House is an attack on the Constitution. Under Trump’s leadership, MAGA is a more appropriate acronym for Make America Go Away.
