Elmhurst AAUW event explores practical uses of artificial intelligence

John Schuster will present “AI in Action: Practical Ways to Use Artificial Intelligence” at the next meeting of the Elmhurst Branch of the American Association of University Women.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in the Kossman Room at the Elmhurst Public Library, 125 S. Prospect Street, Elmhurst.

Schuster will help participants understand what AI is, how it can be used, and ways in which it is already affecting our daily lives.

He plans to explore how to get started with a few free and subscription AI apps, dive into the many ways AI can be used by businesses and individuals alike, and showcase some of its most fascinating capabilities such as asking questions, generating images, and even describing photos.

The AAUW Elmhurst Area Branch is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. For information, visit elmhurstarea-il.aauw.net or facebook.com/AAUWElmhurstIL/.
