Who’s really paying?

Let me see if I have this correct; President Trump is annoyed that President Zelenskyy lacks gratitude for the billions that he has gotten from American taxpayers over the last three years. I assume that this money comes from federal income tax, which President Trump has not paid for a number of years, due to his numerous bankruptcies. Now that I think about it, I may have paid more to Ukraine than our president has, and I am still supporting President Zelenskyy and Ukraine.
