Disgraceful Dems during Trump speech

During President Trump’s speech to Congress earlier this month, I could not believe that the Democratic Illinois members would not even stand up when several people in the audience were honored.

A young boy who has beaten cancer for six years, was honored by many police departments in the nation, and even the United States Secret Service honored him. A young man who has succeeded in high school with terrific grades and had the desire, to go to West Point, was given this opportunity to attend this fall. Both of these events plus several more were not even acknowledged by the Democrats in attendance.

Such a disgrace to watch this happen, which shows that all that hatred against the Republican president and his cabinet, you can’t even acknowledge the accomplishments by these young people, which has nothing to do with politics.

I am an American veteran first and a Republican second. It’s no wonder during my lifetime, in Illinois, we have gone from having 22 congressmen from Illinois to the current 17. It’s easy to see why so many people have left the state considering the condition it’s in. Democrats staying seated last night during these honors should be ashamed of themselves.

Just think, you have almost four more years of this so, enjoy.
