Incumbent has served too long

We recently had the opportunity along with several of our neighbors to attend a “meet and greet” with Ben Gottlieb, a candidate running for Inverness village president. In previous elections we have voted for Jack Tatooles, the current mayor, who ran unopposed. For this election, in order to be informed voters, we decided to look into what Ben was all about and what he had to offer. We sure are glad that we did. What an eye-opening experience it was.

We think the majority if not all of the participants including us were very impressed with Ben. He’s a great communicator and has exciting ideas about getting people more involved in village activities. He’s looking to enhance public safety through modern technology and improved methods of communication. There’s no denying his enthusiasm is contagious.

He explained in detail his plans as well as areas of concern he wants to address. He’s a breath of fresh air as they say. He also explained that he has every intention to run an open and transparent government. Tatooles has been village president since 1997. It’s time for a change in leadership and a new approach to managing our wonderful community.
