Police: Two people hospitalized after Carol Stream crash

Two people were taken to a hospital after a crash Tuesday afternoon in Carol Stream, officials said.

The crash happened about 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Avenue and County Farm Road, according to Carol Stream Fire Department Battalion Chief Chad Grandgeorge. Both vehicles — a semitruck and a box truck — were traveling east on North Avenue at the time of the crash.
