Jim Tinaglia is the right person to lead Arlington Heights as our next mayor. I have known Jim for more than 25 years. Over that time, I have seen his dedication to our community in many different capacities. From the early days coaching youth soccer, serving a park district advisory board and as a Frontier Days red shirt volunteer, he then went on to serve the Village Design Commission and finally the last 12 years as a village trustee. Through these experiences, Jim has built up the most well-rounded knowledge of our community in comparison to the other candidates, without question. He has sacrificed time away from family and friends in service to the people of Arlington Heights, because he truly loves this community and wants to see it thrive and grow.

Jim is not only a proven dedicated public servant, but also a successful business leader and problem solver. His architectural work has positioned him with a unique set of skills that has enabled him to work collaboratively with residents, developers, governmental agencies and builders to find win-win solutions for all constituents. These skills will be imperative as new developments, including the proposed Bears stadium, are considered. Jim is the individual who will ensure our interests are comprehensively represented and our unique character is always protected.

He is a demonstrated leader who has the unique ability to motivate others and get things done and the type of person who deals with adversity with a level, clear headed analytic approach. These qualities are what we need in our next mayor.
