‘Legally Blonde the Musical!’ comes to Metea Valley stage this spring

This spring, Metea Valley High School Theatre is putting on the award-winning musical based on the movie, “Legally Blonde.”

Everything that you have come to know and love from this movie classic now live and on stage in four performances.

A preview show with understudies was held on Thursday, April 24. Opening weekend will be at 7 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, May 1-3, in the high school auditorium, 1801 N. Eola Road in Aurora.

The musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Elle appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

Seats are assigned so pre-order your tickets. General admission is $15 or $10 for students or seniors. Enter through Door 14 or Door 1.
