Barrington Area Handbell Festival Concert April 6

At the Barrington Area Handbell Festival Concert, six handbell choirs, ringing over 300 handbells, from six Barrington churches will perform six massed arrangements, and each choir will perform one additional piece.

Musicians from St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Village Church of Barrington, Lutheran Church of the Atonement, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Barrington Presbyterian Church and Barrington United Methodist Church will play sacred and secular favorites; “Shenandoah,” “Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho,” “Crown Him With Many Crowns,” “Down to the River to Pray,” “Hey Jude” and many more.

The concert takes place at 6 p.m. Sunday April 6, at Barrington United Methodist Church. All are welcome. Admission is free. A freewill offering will be taken.
