Reduced well water testing rates offered in Lake County

The Lake County Health Department is offering a reduced fee of $20 to test homeowners’ water wells for bacteria and nitrates through March 21.

Sterile test bottles and instructions are available at the Lake County Central Permit Facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville; health department headquarters, 3010 Grand Avenue, Waukegan; and, 19 township or municipal offices throughout Lake County.
