What is the most serious issue your community will face in the coming years and how should the village board respond to it?

Most important issue facing South Barrington is to preserve the high quality of life without putting additional financial burden on residents.

How would you describe the state of your community's finances? What should be the top priorities for spending during the next few years? Are there areas of spending that need to be curtailed?

Finances of our community is in sound state. Our goal is to provide all the needed services to all our residents in an efficient and effective manner without any additional financial burden.

What do you see as the most important infrastructure project the community must address? Why and how should it be paid for? Conversely, during these uncertain economic times, what project(s) can be put on the back burner?

I like to work with our park district make our residents aware of available facilities so more of our residents enjoy and participate in park district activities. I like to create voluntary group to create new park activity so every one can enjoy.

Describe your experience working in a group setting to determine policy. What is your style in such a setting to reach an agreement and manage local government? Explain how you think that will be effective in producing effective actions and decisions with your village board.

I have served as chairman of surgery department as well as president of 500-member medical staff of Northwestern McHenry Hospital McHenry.

My style of working is listen to every opinion and come to consensus.

What makes you the best candidate for the job?

I have lived in South Barrington since 1985 and have plenty of experience dealing with diverse group of people in all walks of life.

What’s one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?

To celebrate diverse cultural activities.
