What is the most serious issue your community will face in the coming years and how should the village board respond to it?
Connecting to Lake Michigan water — we need to get a better understanding of the longevity of the aquifer as well as more testing on contaminants within our private well water supply, considering that the majority of our residents are on private well systems. We need to ensure federal grant funds and utilize them as soon as possible.

Our reserves are strong and our budget is well-structured. Lake Michigan water project.
What do you see as the most important infrastructure project the community must address? Why and how should it be paid for? Conversely, during these uncertain economic times, what project(s) can be put on the back burner?
