Huntley man charged with possession of child sex abuse materials
A 25-year-old Huntley man is facing possession of child sex abuse materials charges after an investigation that began last month.
Huntley police officials said they received a tip from Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force with information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children data system indicating the possible possession of child sex abuse materials by an unknown internet subscriber.
The investigation led them to Jordan K. Hein of the 10300 block of Sawgrass Lane.
Early Wednesday morning Huntley police and investigators from the Illinois attorney general’s office served a search warrant at Hein’s home and seized multiple electronic devices. Hein was arrested based on evidence found during the search, according to police.
Hein was charged with multiple counts of possession of child sex abuse materials, including possession of materials depicting victims under the age of 13.
Hein was granted pretrial release following a detention hearing.
