Kairos Counseling Center closes after 50 years of service

The Kairos Counseling Center board of directors is holding an open house on Sunday, March 16, in celebration of those who have served and supported the organization over the years.

The board of directors elected to hold the open house at the First Presbyterian Church where the organization was founded and currently resides. For five decades, the community-based organization was dedicated to providing quality, affordable counseling services.

It will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 240 Standish St. in Elgin. For information, visit www.kairosfamilycounseling.com.
