Stars shine at Ravinia this summer
Tony Award-winner, Oscar nominee and “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo, Grammy Award-winner Lenny Kravitz, Chicago’s own Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Earth, Wind & Fire, Emmy Award-winning actress/singer Janelle Monáe, Country Music Award-winner Maren Morris, acclaimed pianist Lang Lang and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (whose performances mark its 89th residency) are among the stars scheduled to perform at the Ravinia Festival this summer.
Returning favorites include: John Legend, Heart, James Taylor, Al Green, Diana Krall and The Roots, while hip-hop fave Nas, Broadway favorite Sutton Foster, award-winning Colombian musician Juanes and Bollywood stars The Mohan sisters are among the artists making their debuts at the Highland Park venue.
“Ravinia has something for everyone — classical music, rock, pop, R&B, soul, Latin, jazz, country, hip-hop, DJs, movies, musical theater and more,” said Ravinia president and CEO Jeffrey P. Haydon in a prepared statement. “We are grateful to continue opening our beautiful part for communities throughout Chicagoland to enjoy an evening under the stars with their family and friends, listening to music from their favorite artists and discovering new ones.”
The 2025 season opens June 6 at 201 Ravinia Park Road. Tickets go on sale to the public on April 24. Ravinia donors can purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, March 18. Tickets are available at the box office or at (847) 266-5100 or ravinia.org.
