A 23-year-old Naperville man died after being shot early Tuesday morning on Chicago’s South Side.
Chicago police officials said officers on patrol just before 3 a.m. near the 1400 block of West 77th Street heard multiple gunshots. They searched the area and found man unresponsive on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his chest.
The man was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
