Trump is doing what he was elected to do

As expected, the left-wing Democrats along with the partisan legacy media are squealing like pigs at what is going on in Washington. Even opinion letters in the Daily Herald are complaining about what nearly 80 million people voted for. Apparently, they were paying too much attention to Kamala Harris word salads and not what the American people actually wanted, like two genders, men not competing in women sports, stopping illegal immigration by the millions, preventing child sex mutilation, abundant wasteful spending, meritocracy versus equity, bloated federal agencies. These are the exact issues he ran on during his presidential campaign.

“The country is under assault” and “the Constitution is being trashed” according to the clueless Democrats. All because President Trump appointed a billionaire to analyze wasteful federal spending. Not only is Elon Musk the richest person in the world; he is arguably the smartest. What better person could do this job? He takes no salary and is laser focused.

What President Trump is doing is exactly the same thing FDR and JFK did. Roosevelt brought in a fellow New Yorker named Harry Hopkins in 1933 to advise him on how to deal with the Great Depression. Hopkins was not elected and had enormous power and even lived in the White House during World War II. Roosevelt also hired some of his Harvard pals to assist Hopkins. All were unelected and not confirmed by Congress.

President Kennedy did the same. He brought his Boston buddies Dave Powers, Kenny O’Donnell, Theodore Sorensen into Washington. Again, all were unelected and not confirmed by Congress. The Clinton administration fired nearly 400,000 federal employees. And it is widely agreed that Chief of Staff Ron Klain ran the entire country for most of the Biden administration. Again, an unelected politician not confirmed by Congress.
