Stand up for Ukraine

Friday’s display of horrendous conduct by our president and vice President against Ukraine fighting to defend its sovereignty and freedom and lending support to Putin should be condemned by all Americans and leaders regardless of party. It was an embarrassment like no other ever seen coming from the Oval Office. It was an affront to all of our allies and inconsistent with American values of fighting for freedom. It disrespected not only Ukraine but all of Europe and lent comfort to dictators throughout the world.

Our nation is stronger with allies, and turning our back on them is just plain wrong. This conduct cannot and must not be condoned as we have seen coming from countless feckless and fearful acolytes who know better and merely wish to curry favor with the Oval Office and protecting their own hide and their positions as opposed to having a spine and standing up for what is right.

Let us all speak out and stand up for Ukraine and show the world that the conduct of yesterday does not reflect our nation and its long-standing commitment to freedom.
