Gurnee to hold workshop on $104.5 million proposed budget
Gurnee officials are holding workshop on the proposed $104.5 million annual budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year at 5:30 p.m. today, March 3 at village hall, 325 N. O’Plaine Road.
Residents are encouraged to view and provide feedback at gurnee.il.us/budget. Proposed expenditures of $104.5 million represent an increase of 3.5% or $3.5 million from last year. The increase is due projects included in the largest capital plan in village history and initiatives to make services more efficient and cost effective, according to the village.
The village board will consider the budget for formal approval on April 7.
