Misplaced ridicule
Bill Day’s cartoon recently published in the Daily Herald shows Trump’s desire to shut down the Department of Education. His reason for this, according to the cartoon, is that he loves the poorly educated, presumably because they were the reason he won the election.
The reality is that the largest numbers of poorly educated children are in the large urban school districts, which voted overwhelmingly for Harris. This is just a simple reality of where our population is located.
Ridiculing Trump voters is not a constructive strategy. Especially when the facts don’t support the smear.
