‘Journey Beyond Hope’ exhibition features artists seeking asylum

Come see the powerful artwork of three young asylum-seekers from Viator House of Hospitality at the closing reception for “Journey Beyond Hope,” an exhibition that celebrates the resilience of refugees who have come to the United States in search of a better life. This is more than just an art show, it’s a celebration of three brave young men whose art and stories are a powerful reminder of resilience, hope and inspiration. These remarkable artists have shared pieces of their stories through their art, now on display at The Empty Corner through the end of February.

Grammy award winner Maria Rago will perform her original piano compositions and Zerrin Bulut from DePaul University will share poetry that reflects the immigrant experience.
