Gurnee to discuss creation of arts commission

Gurnee officials will hold an informational meeting Thursday to discuss the establishment of new arts commission.

The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at village hall, 325 N O'Plaine Road. It will include a discussion of the vision and goals for the commission and ways for the community to get involved.

Residents are encouraged to bring ideas to help foster a vibrant arts community in Gurnee. Those who cannot attend but have suggestions can email Matt Trujillo at mtrujillo@village.gurnee.il.us.
